HP Scitex Flatbed Repair
We service HP Scitex UV flatbed printers on site across Tampa Bay, Lakeland, Orlando and the surrounding counties, covering the FB500, FB700, FB550 and FB750.
These are rigid-substrate production machines, and the faults reflect that. Lamp and curing behaviour, vacuum table performance, carriage and rail movement, printhead health and ink delivery are where most of our work sits. A flatbed that is printing but curing unevenly, or holding board inconsistently, is losing you material on every sheet long before it throws an error.

We also supply aftermarket UV ink for the same flatbeds we service, which means one supplier for both sides of the machine.

These inks are aftermarket. They are not manufactured by or affiliated with HP, and the manufacturer names and part numbers above are compatibility references only. If your machine is under a service contract, check the terms before switching ink.
Models and support confirmation
We are asked most often about the FB500, FB700, FB550 and FB750. Coverage is confirmed case by case, because on a machine of this size the fault matters more than the model badge. Send us the model, the error code if there is one, and a description of what the machine is doing, and we will tell you before anyone travels whether this is a job we should take.
Parts
Parts are quoted at market price with no markup added. On flatbeds in particular, some components are worth sourcing yourself if you already have a supply line, and we are happy to fit customer-supplied parts. We cannot warrant a part we did not supply.
Preventive maintenance
Flatbeds reward scheduled attention more than almost any other machine in the shop. Lamp output, vacuum integrity, rail condition and head health all degrade gradually, and each one costs you print quality before it costs you uptime. For shops running daily volume, a planned service interval is usually cheaper than the first unplanned stoppage.

Do you repair HP Scitex flatbed printers?
Yes. We service HP Scitex UV flatbeds on site in Florida, including the FB500, FB700, FB550 and FB750.
My flatbed is curing unevenly. Is that fixable?
Usually it is worth looking at. Uneven curing commonly traces back to lamp output, lamp age or carriage behaviour rather than anything fundamental. We would confirm the cause before quoting the fix.
The vacuum table is not holding board flat. Can you help?
Yes, vacuum performance is one of the more common flatbed complaints we see and it is a normal part of the work.
Do you supply ink for the FB500 and FB550?
Yes. We stock aftermarket FB250 UV ink for the FB500 and FB700, and FB794 UV ink for the FB550 and FB750.
Do you replace printheads on these machines?
Printhead work is assessed case by case. We will tell you honestly whether replacement is the right call or whether the money is better spent elsewhere on the machine.
